After two weeks the tree sit is still going strong. We’ve gotten great news coverage from the Eugene Weekly and KEZI. The BLM responded by saying that they are not planning on cutting in the area soon. We said we’ll be here until the sale is canceled.

In the fall of last year (2008), we organized a tree sit in Salem. It was great! It was successful! It was FUN!
We have since followed this up with a personalized gift basket delivered to Governor Kulongowski and a dance party at (St)Umpqua bank in downtown Eugene.
