Please join us Thursday April 14th, 2011 for a screening of the 2001 documentary :
A film by Briana Waters about forest defenders working together with the locals of a small Washington logging town to save a mountain and its forests from logging.
We will be screening this film at the East Blair Housing Co-operative (located at the southwest corner of 4th and adams in eugene) at 7pm on Thursday, April 14th.
We will be accepting donations, but there is no charge. The film will be preceded by a brief introduction to our current campaign ( http://www.savetrapper.com for more info) and followed by discussion.

April 20th Rising Tide North America’s Day of Action Against Extraction :
Cascadia Forest Defenders is not currently aware of any plans in Eugene for this event, people are encouraged to take action themselves or join Portland Rising Tide for there event in Hood River, Oregon.

There are sure to be many events between now and then, but clear your calendars for the CFD action camp. The camp will be later this year, starting Friday July 22nd and running at least 3 days. More details will come about this event later, but you can start planning for it early!
